HD McKay Consulting Engineers is a progressing and developing Structural & Civil Engineering Consultancy operating throughout the island of Ireland.
With over 20 years experience in engineering and construction projects, we provide professional services to Architects, Local Authorities, Public Bodies, Solicitors and Individuals on a range of Commercial, Industrial and Domestic projects.

The company is led by Damien McKay who is passionate about what he does. Damien is a Chartered Civil Engineer. He is a member of Engineers Ireland, The Association of Forensic Consulting Engineers and also Engineers Ireland Pyrite Design Professionals Register.

Damien has worked as a respected Engineer with a range of private and public sector bodies. These include the Feasibility Section of Northern Ireland Water Service in Belfast, the Road Design Office of Donegal County Council, McLaughlin & Harvey Civil Engineering Contractors & RG Parkins & Partners Consulting Civil & Structural Engineers.

Projects he has worked on include: Curran Quay Development at Larne Harbour £4.5million; ClarBarnesmore Gap road Realignment €20million; Knockvalley Sewer £2million and Bundoran Link Road €600k; Finisklin Industrial Park, Sligo €1.5million
